More Cards

My Etsy is doing well for once! At least well for as little work I've been putting in. http://GinaGlynn.etsy.com I sold the first two tonight after them only being listed for one day! And even cooler they're in Finland, so now I can stretch the truth and say I sold art in Finland :p

More Colorful Self Portrait

Sometimes I feel like all I do is self portraits. Tomorrow I'll be starting my tenth. All of which have been assignments. Anyways, I had to incorporate color into the last one I posted consisting of text. Let me know what you guys think. I also have to do a third version by wednesday.

New Cards

I've realized that on etsy the thing that sells the most compared to how many I make were my greeting cards. This could be because I don't like charging much ha because they dont take very long. Anyways, so I'm also am in this business class at school and I'm supposed to focus on a business I want to create all semester. Instead of thinking about something in the future I knew I'd be more focused if I kept with a business I already had. To have a clean start I started a new one for my greeting cards. Since they are more like Illustrations than anything else I put on etsy I decided to use my name. I'm studying to be an Illustrator so there can never be enough promotion of self. I'll stop rambling and show my first cards on my new shop - GinaGlynn.etsy.com

Sketchbook

I just filled my beloved sketchbook. I had the opportunity to make paper and pump paintings and I used them to make this sketchbook. It's stayed by my side since I made it. It mostly has notes and things but I wanted to share some of its contents. The is the front that has a pulp painting I made -it's where you add pigment to the pulp while you make the paper.

The last page with another pulp painting.

Thanks for Visiting!
